OPERATIONS DE BASE
When you have finished using this unit:
if you switch the tuner contro! amplifier's POWER switch to STANDBY
position, power to other components will also be switched off.

TUNING INTO STATIONS
1. Select the desired broadcasting band using the BAND selector
button.
2. Press the FREQ/ST button and set to frequency mode (When set
to frequency mode, the tuner control amplifier dispfay indicates
the time),
3. Press TUNING UP or DOWN button for higher or lower frequencies.
[Auto tuning}
Press TUNING UP or DOWN button until the frequency starts to change,
then release it.
The tuner will automatically search for a broadcasting station, and stop
when one is found, and the TUNED indicator lights up. To search for
another station, press again.
* To interrupt auto tuning, press TUNING button again.
NOTE:
* Auto tuning is not possible on the LW band (U.K. and European only).
* When auto tuning is in use, reception may not be possible for distant
stations or when signals are weak, At these times manual tuning is
recommended.
[Manual tuning}
Press TUNING UP or DOWN button and release quickly.
The tuning frequency will change by one step each time the button is
pressed. Press as many times as necessary to tune in the desired station.
The TUNED indicator lights up when the station is tuned in best.
* If you keep the TUNING button depressed after the frequency has
begun to change, the reception frequency changes continuously, and
stops when the button is released.
SYNTONISATION DE STATIONS

1. Séliectionner la gamme d'émission désirée a l'aide du sélecteur
BAND.
2. Appuyer
sur la touche FREQ/ST
et régler dans le mode
de
fréquence. (Lorsque l'appareil est régié dans le mode de fréquence,
l'affichage de I'amplificateur de commande tuner indique I'heure),
3. Appuyer sur la touche TUNING UP ou DOWN pour syntoniser une
fréquence supérieure ou inférieure,
[Syntonisation automatique]
Appuyer sur la touche TUNING UP et DOWN jusqu'a ce que la fréquence
commence a changer, puis la relacher.
Le tuner recherchera automatiquement une station de radiodiffusion,
s'arréte quand ij en trouve une, puis lindicateur TUNED s'allume. Pour
chercher une autre station, appuyer 4 nouveau sur la touche.
* Pour interrompre la syntonisation automatique, appuyer de nouveau
sur la touche TUNING.
REMARQUE:
* La syntonisation automatique ne fonctionne pas avec les grandes
ondes (modéles Royaume-Uni et européens seulement).
* Lorsque la syntonisation automatique est en cours d'utilisation, la
réception peut s'avérer impossible pour les stations lointaines ou
lorsque les signaux sont faibles. Dans ce cas, il est conseillé d'utiliser
fa syntonisation manuelle..

Appuyer sur la touche TUNING UP et DOWN et fa relacher rapidement.
La fréquence changera d'un pas chaque fois que la touche sera pressée.
Appuyer aussi souvent qu'll est nécessaire pour syntoniser la station
désirée. L'indicateur TUNED s'aliume lorsque la station est accordée
au mieux.
* En continuant & appuyer sur la touche TUNING
une fois que fa
fréquence a commencé & changer, !a fréquence de réception change
continuellement et s'arréte lorsque fa touche est relachée.
