Using the NORM EDIT
1. Set discs in the CD player (PD-J500T/PD-J400T/PD-J900M/
PO-J800M).
. Load a tape for recording into Deck Il. {A.S.E.S. starts in the
forward direction (® ). Confirm tape direction.)
. Set the DOLBY NR switch to the desired position.
. Select the REVERSE MODE switch.
. Press the ASES button.
To stop A.S.E.S.operation, press the STOP button {
m) of Deck Il.

LINK A.S.E.S, (NORM EDIT only)
If extra tape remains after you have completed your edit recording
session, the CD can be changed and A.S.E,S, recording continued.
After
1--5 is performed, the A.S.E.S. will be temporarily terminated.
6. Load another CD.
7, Press the REC button (@).
The PLAY button's indicator will flash. Recording will begin in the
direction indicated by the flashing.
8, Press the ASES button to begin linked A.S.E.S. recording.
NOTE:
During A.S.E.S. operation, a 10 second unrecorded section is usually
created at the beginning of the tape. However, if you press the A.S.E.S.

when in the record pause mode, no unrecorded section is
created.

1. Placer des disques dans le lecteur de CD (PD-J500T/PD-J400T/
PD-JSOOM/PD-J800M).
2. Charger la bande a enregistrer dans la Platine I. (La fonction
A.S.E.S. commence dans le sens avant
(> ). Vérifier le sens de
ja bande.)
. Régler le commutateur DOLBY NR sur la position désirée.
. Sélectionner le commutateur REVERSE MODE.
. Appuyer sur la touche ASES.
. Appuyer sur la touche STOP (mi) de fa Platine I] peur arréter
Vopération de ('A.S.E.S.
A.S.E.S. ENCHAINE (NORM EDIT seulement)
S'il reste de ta bande aprés avoir terminé la session d'enregistrement
avec édition, le disque compact peut étre changé et !'enregistrement
A.S.E.S. continué.
Lorsque l'enregistrement 1-5 est effectué, la fonction A.S.E.S. est
provisoirement terminée.

6. Charger un autre disque compact.
7. Appuyer sur fa touche REC (@).
L'indicateur
de
la touche
PLAY
clignote.
L'enregistrement
commencera dans le sens indiqué par le clignotement.
8. Appuyer
sur la touche ASES
pour démarrer |'enregistrement
A.S.E.S. enchainé,
REMARQUE:
Pendant la fonction A.S.E.S., une section non enregistrée de 10
secondes est généralement créée au début de la bande. Cependant, si
fa touche
A.S.E.S.
est
enfoncée
dans
le mode
de
pause
a
Venregistrement, aucune section non enregistrée n'est créée.
