Assemblage instructions
1.1 Preliminary advice
This installation manual is intended for professionally competent personnel only. Installation, electrical connections
and adjustments must be carried out in accordance with good practice and in compliance with current regulations.
Read the instructions carefully before starting to install the product. Incorrect installation can be a source of danger.
The packaging materials (plastic, polystyrene, etc.) must not be released into the environment and must not be left
within reach of children as they are potential sources of danger. Before starting installation, check the integrity of
the product.
If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its technical assistance service or in any
case by a person with similar qualifications, in order to prevent any risk.
Do not install the product in an explosive environment or atmosphere: the presence of flammable gases or fumes
is a serious safety hazard.
Before installing the actuator, make all the structural changes relating to the construction of safety clearance and to
the protection or segregation of all crushing, shearing, conveying and general danger areas. Check that the existing
structure has the necessary strength and stability requirements. The actuator manufacturer is not responsible for
failure to observe the Rules of Art in the construction of the frames to be motorized, as well as for any deformation
that may occur during use. Apply the warnings required by current regulations to identify dangerous areas.
Check that the electrical distribution network is not from ""construction site"" but under special cabins, in case of
doubt or lack of information (certain) also include:
- special isolation transformers;
- special isolation transformers
- surge arresters.
Before connecting the power supply make sure that the plate data correspond to those of the electrical distribution
network. Provide an omnipolar switch / disconnector on the power supply with contact opening distance equal to
or greater than 3 mm.
Check that there is a differential switch and adequate over-current protection of the electrical system. When
required, connect to an effective earthing system carried out according to the safety regulations in force in the
country where the actuator is installed. Prior to carrying out any work (installation, maintenance and repair)
disconnect the power supply before working on the equipment. To ensure effective separation from the electrical
network, it is advisable to install an approved bipolar button.
