Multicolour Light for wall mounting GH2

Application / Description

The ActiveLine Multicolour Light for wall mounting is an optical signaling device for universal use. The possible signaling
colours green, yellow, red, blue and white serve many different signaling functions. The different signalling colours are
generated in one single light element. Each colour allows presetting one of the operating modes: continuous light, blink
light or flash light. The light is generated by light emitting diodes.

Construction

The plastic enclosure is made of impact resistant thermoplastic and the cap consists of impact resistant polycarbonate.

Mounting

For mounting and connecting the Multicolour Light please unscrew the lower lid. For the insertion of the connecting
cable the device is equipped with a self-sealing grommet M16x1.5 for cable diameters of 6 to 8 mm.
The contruction of the fixing plate allows both the exposed and the flush mounting of the cable.
Fasten the Multicolour Light to the wall by inserting 2 screws through the bores in the fixing plate. For bore dimensions
please see drawing (Dimensions ).

Connection

Before connecting the Multicolour Light make sure the conductors of the power cable are dead (no voltage). The power
cable is fed through the self-sealing grommet into the enclosure. There are the terminals on the printed circuit board.

EMC-Directive

The device complies with the requirements of the new EMCdirective 2014/30/EU and the low voltage directive 2014/35/
EU. The conformity with the above directives is confirmed by the CE sign.

For Multicolour Lights with operating voltage 230 VAC

Connect the neutral connector to the terminal marked „N" . Connect the white, blue, red, yellow and green operating
voltage conductors to the accordingly marked terminals
Terminals with 230 VAC

For Multicolour Lights with operating voltage 24 VDC

Connect the 0 V or the negative cable conductor to the terminal designated with „GND" . Connect the cable conductors with
positive voltage corres ponding to the colours white, blue, red, yellow, and green to the accordingly designated terminals.
Terminals with 24 VDC
As far as the set up of the Multicolour Light by means of the switches has not taken place yet, go to chapter „Settings" .
Otherwise screw the lower lid onto the enclosure again.

Settings

Before making the setting, make sure the Multicolour Light is disconnected (no voltage). When the enclosure is open, (a)
circuit board(s) are visible. On one side are the terminals described under „Connection" and on the other side is a block
of 10 switches marked 1...10, for setting the operating mode of the individual olours (white, blue, red, yellow, green).
