IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
WARNING: When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be
followed, including the following:
1.
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS.
2.
Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles. Always wear oven mitts or use pot holders
to handle hot appliances.
3.
To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord or plugs, or popper base
in water or other liquids.
4.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge,
unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use
of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
5.
Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
6.
Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting
on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
7.
Do not operate any appliance if the cord is damaged. Do not use this appliance
if the unit malfunctions, if it is dropped or has been damaged in any manner.
In order to avoid the risk of an electric shock, never try to repair the Popcorn Popper
yourself. Bring it to a qualified technician for examination, repair or electrical
or mechanical adjustment. An incorrect reassembly could present a risk of electric
shock when the Popcorn Popper is used.
8.
The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer
may cause injuries.
9.
Do not use outdoors or for commercial purposes.
10. Do not let cord hang over the edge of table or counter, or touch hot surfaces.
11. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
12. Never leave the Popcorn Popper unattended when it is plugged into an outlet.
13. Always add raw kernels to the fully assembled Popcorn Popper before turning ON.
14. Never add more than one measuring cap/butter tray of kernels (
the popping chamber at one time. DO NOT OVERFILL.
15. To turn the Popcorn Popper OFF, Press the ON/OFF switch to OFF (O).
Then remove plug from wall outlet.
16. Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
17. Extreme caution must be used when removing popped popcorn.
18. Do not leave this appliance unattended during use.
WARNING: Do not add butter, oil, shortening, water, salt, sugar or seasoning
or any other substances other than raw popcorn kernels in the popping chamber
as damage will occur.
