PLEASE NOTE!
Do not overload the motor! Allow the device to cool down after no more than 5 min-
utes of uninterrupted operation!
Cheese, sausages and meat can be sliced better if they are chilled (not fro-
zen!).
Allow freshly baked bread to cool completely before slicing it.

3. Place the item for slicing between the fi nger guard and guide wall.
4. To switch on the device, press the switch I / /O / II (1).
There are two possible ways to do this:
– Move the switch I / /O / II to the left to position I to switch on constant operation.
The cutting blade (3) keeps rotating until the switch is moved back to position O.
– Move the switch I / /O / II to the right to position II and hold it to switch on safe
operation. When you let go of the switch, it fl ips back to position O itself and the
cutting blade stops automatically.
5. Press the item for slicing gently against the guide wall and slowly push the slide
against the moving cutting blade.
6. To cut further slices, retract the slide and slice again.

7. If the switch I / /O / II has been moved to position I, move it back to position O to
switch off the device.
If the switch I / /O / II has been moved to position II, let go of it. The switch automati-
cally reverts to position O and the device switches off.
8. Remove the mains plug from the plug socket.

1. Place the fi nger guard (8) on the slide (5). The high side
must point towards the guide wall (9).
2. Use the dial (2) to set the cutting width you want (from 0
to 15 mm).
