8.4 Classification output for 5 to 40 good classes

In addition to the visual classification «Good» (green), «Rework» (amber), «Scrap» (red)
with output signals to the relevant relays, the TT80 and TT90 allow you to choose between
5, 10, 20 or 40 good classes, besides «Rework» and «Scrap». This choice is made over
both configuring switches 6 and 7 at the rear of the measuring instrument.
The X classes always match the range of the tolerances defined through both upper and
lower limit values, divided into X classes having the same extent.
The way the output for X classes operate is invariably linked to the limit values as set for
both tolerances.
The X classes are output through a synchronous one on the 15-pin/f connector, which is
enabled together with the classification.

8.4.2 Data format of classification classes

Data transmission uses any characters of 48 bits, whatever the number of selected classes.
The zero bit will first be sent, then the X good classes, and finally «Rework» (amber) and
«Scrap» (red).
