9. Troubleshooting

If your device fails to function as required, please try this checklist
first. Perhaps there is only a minor problem, and you can solve it
yourself.
DANGER! Risk of electric shock!
Do not attempt to repair the device yourself under any cir-
cumstances.
Fault

be switched on.
Cutting performance
is deteriorating.
Battery cannot be
charged or the bat-
tery performance is
very low.
Possible causes / Action
• Has the device been connected to
the power supply?
• Inspect the connections.
• Is the battery empty?
• Is the battery empty?
• Has the transport lock been activat-
ed?
• Blade unit 8 cleaned?
The battery have reached the end of its
service life. The device with the installed
battery must be disposed of properly (see
Chapter "Disposal" on page 22).
