Function
1. To start or end an examination. To start, enter patient data and select the required application,
preset and probe.
2. Th is key is used to input or modify the patient data during the exam.
3. To select a diff erent probe.
4. To select application specifi c presets.
5. Th e ' A rchive rev' key is used to access the patient/exam database.
6. Th e 'Exam rev' key is used to review the current exam.
7. Th e 'B-Mode' key returns the display to the real time B-Mode from all other modes.
8. To start M-Mode or B/M-Duplex Mode.
9. To activate Continuous Doppler.
10. To activate Pulsed Wave Doppler.
11. Pressing the 'CFM' key in B- or M-Mode activates the Color Mode.
12. To stop real-time scanning in all modes. To unfreeze, press 'Freeze' again or use the 'B-Mode'
key. Th e cine-memory is automatically activated when pressing the 'Freeze' button.
13. Th e zoom function provides real time magnifi cation of a B-Mode region.
Pressing 'Zoom' will activate the zoom ROI. Pressing 'Zoom' again magnifi es the selected area.
Press 'Zoom' or "B-Mode' to return to B-Mode.
14. Turning the 'Depth' knob will increase or decrease the image depth.
In zoom mode, the Depth knob changes the size of the zoom ROI.
15. In B- or Color Mode, you can turn on the line cursor and position it before activating M-Mode,
Continuous Wave Doppler or Pulsed Wave Doppler.
16. Press this button to have an immediate update of the B image in M-Mode, Continuous Wave
mode or Pulsed Wave Mode.
17. To control the gain of the ultrasound signals in B-Mode, Continuous Wave Mode, Pulsed Wave
Mode or Color Mode.
18. Th ese keys activate views of two (dual) images.
19. Press this key to perform a basic measurement. (Distance, Ellipse, Length etc.).
20. Press 'Measure' to perform application specifi c measurements that are stored in reports.
21. Press Report to obtain the application specifi c measurement results.
22. ' A nnot' activates the on-screen annotation.
23. Th is key displays the system menu in order to program the settings of the system.
24. Th e 'Print' key controls the B/W, color video printer or Windows® printer (depending on printer
confi guration settings and connected video printer)
25. Use the 'Clip' key to save clips in the internal memory.
26. Use the 'Image' key to save still images in the internal memory or on the USB memory drive.
27. Th e 'Pointer' key sets trackball operation from standard to mouse and vice versa.
28. In certain operating modes and functions, several cursors are available.
Pressing the ' A ction' key selects the active cursor.
An icon on the screen indicates the active cursor.
29. 'Enter' acts like a confi rmation key.
30. 'Undo' is used to undo the latest performed actions (annotations, measurements, etc)
31. Resets probe and application settings to default values.
Th e software keys section contains four software buttons and six toggles. Th e toggles are used to
adjust the value of parameters, and the buttons enable or disable functions (on/off ). Th e functions
associated with all the software keys vary according to mode, application, and settings.
Th e function in the current mode is displayed at the bottom of the screen.
Th e buttons are displayed according to their status.
If the button is active, pressing the button enables the associated function.
