11. Transport / Storage / Disposal

For the transport and storage of your Carum, we recommend using the original packaging. We further
recommend to protect the products from UV (e.g. sunlight / halogen lamps), heat and dust.

11.2. Service life and disposal

The service life of the unit under normal conditions of use is 10 years, excluding the wear and tear parts.
This device comprises electronic components and a rechargeable lithium ion battery. At the end of
the service life of the device, the latter and its accessories must be disposed of according to the locally
applicable regulations.
Do not throw used batteries into the garbage, but return them to the point of sale, or dispose of them
according to the locally applicable regulations.
The device is subject to the requirements of the WEEE Directive.
