ATTENTION! Despite the safe design of the device
and its protective features, and despite the use of
additional elements protecting the operator, there
is still a slight risk of accident or injury when using
the device. Stay alert and use common sense
when using the device.
3. USE GUIDELINES
The evaporative air cooler is a device designed to
lower indoor temperature. In addition, the cooled air is
cleaned and humidified.

3.2. PREPARING FOR USE
The temperature of environment must not be lower/
higher than 0-40°C and the relative humidity should be
less than 85%. Ensure good ventilation in the room in
which the device is being used. There should be at least
10 cm distance between each side of the device and the
wall or other objects. The device should always be used
when positioned on an even, stable, clean, fireproof
and dry surface, and be out of the reach of children
and persons with limited mental and sensory functions.
Position the device such that you always have access
to the power plug. The power cord connected to the
appliance must be properly grounded and correspond
to the technical details on the product label.
Slide the water tank out the back of the device and
fill it making sure that the water level is within the
permissible range - preferably near the upper limit.
NOTE: The tank is permanently attached and cannot
be removed completely! Pour / add water to the tank
only when the device is switched off. Do not move the
device when it is operating. Do not operate it with an
empty water tank or when the water level is below the
minimum. Use only pure water - it is recommended to
change it every day. If the device is not used for a long
time, empty the water tank.
Cooling cartridges contain crystals. Before first use,
fill them with clean water up to the MAX level marked
on them. Do not overflow this level! Before using the
cooling cartridges, first put them in the freezer for about
8 hours so that they freeze sufficiently.
3.3. DEVICE USE
NOTE! Button operation / change of function is signalled
by a short beep.
3.3.1 TURNING THE DEVICE ON / OFF
The device is equipped with a main power switch
(8) located on the right side wall when viewed from
the front. Any operation on the control panel or the
remote control is possible only after setting this switch
to the ON (I) position signalled by a short beep. After
setting the main power switch (8) to the ON position,
subsequent turning on and off of the device will be
possible using the ON (3) and OFF (5) buttons on the
device control panel or the ON / OFF (1) button on the
remote control. The correct position is signalled by an
indicator light.
3.3.2 SETTING THE AIRFLOW RATE (SPEED)
To change the airflow rate, press the SPEED button on
the device control panel (7) or the remote control (2).
Each time the SPEED button is pressed, the airflow rate
changes (L - low; M - medium; H - high) according to the
following scheme:
L
M
H
The selection of an airflow rate is signalled by an
indicator light.

3.3.3 ACTIVATING / DEACTIVATING THE AUTOMATIC
AIRFLOW SHUTTER CONTROL (SWING)
The device has the function of automatically changing
the airflow direction to the right / left within 60 degrees
using external shutters. To enable this function, press
the SWING button on the device control panel (6) or the
remote control (5). Activation of this function is signalled
by a light on the device.
NOTE! The horizontal shutters are set manually and
should only be adjusted when the SWING option is off.
3.3.4 STARTING THE TIMER
The timer allows the device to turn off automatically
after a set time within the range of 0.5 - 7.5 hours. To
set the time, press the button (1) on the device control
panel or (6) the remote control. Press repeatedly until
the desired time is set. Activation of the timer and time
selection is signalled by an appropriate indicator light.
NOTE! If a time longer than 4 hours is set, the sum of the
indicator lights shows the total time, e.g. 3.5 hours = 0.5
+ 1 + 2 hour lights are on, etc.
3.3.5 TURNING THE HUMIDIFIER ON / OFF (HUMIDIFY)
To turn on / off the humidification function, press the
HUMIDIFY button on the device control panel (2) or
the remote control (3). With cooling cartridges you can
reduce the temperature of the airflow by a few oC. You
can use one or two cooling cartridges at once (also
alternately).
NOTE! After disabling the HUMIDIFY function, it will
remain active for about 30 seconds to cool the device.
3.3.6 SELECTING THE OPERATING MODE (MODE / WIND)
There are 3 modes to choose from: NORMAL, NATURE
and SLEEP. You can choose one of them by pressing the
MODE button on the device control panel (4) or WIND
on the remote control (4). After switched on, the device
is in NORMAL mode by default (none of the mode lights
is on) while the change of the mode is signalled by an
appropriate indicator light next to the mode name.
In the NATURE mode, the airflow rate is randomly set to
give a natural breeze feeling.
In the SLEEP mode, the airflow rate is gradually reduced
from high to medium to low. If used with the timer, the
device will turn off after the set time has elapsed.
NOTE! If the airflow rate is set to high in the SLEEP
mode, the device gradually reduces it to low, then it
returns to high again and does so alternately until the
device is turned off (manually or automatically).
If the airflow rate is set to medium, the device gradually
reduces it until it stops completely, then it returns to the
medium again and does so alternately until the device is
turned off (manually or automatically).
If the airflow rate is set to low, the device will behave in
the same way as when set to the medium but without
the medium airflow.
3.4. CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
a)
Unplug the mains plug and allow the device to
cool completely before each cleaning, adjustment
or replacement of accessories, or if the device is
not being used. Wait for the rotating elements to
stop.
