Laminator Operating Modes
The laminator can process all cold and hot laminating pouches in the thicknesses 80 ‒ 125
micron.
Cold Laminating
When "cold laminating" mode is active, the laminating pouch is heated to a temperature of
approx. 25 °C. The laminating pouches are coated with a special adhesive. The sides of the
laminating pouches are pressed together during the laminating process.
A detachable bond is produced and the material can be removed if necessary without any dam-
age.
Only use cold laminating pouches for cold laminating.
Hot Laminating
When "hot laminating" mode is active, the laminating pouch is heated to a temperature of ap-
prox. 120 °C as the pouch passes through the laminator transport rollers. This creates a perma-
nent thermal bonding of the laminated material and the laminating pouch.
Hot lamination permanently prevents the laminated material from coming into contact with water,
oxygen and bacteria.
Only use hot laminating pouches for hot laminating.
