11.6. FUEL FILTER

Remove the screws and then remove the cover, and drain the fuel.

Hold and move up the champ, then off the hose from the tank.
3.
Take out the fuel filter.
4.
Clean with gasoline.
5.
Dry the filter and put it back into tank.
6.
Install the hose and clamp, and then open the fuel valve to check whether it is leak.
7.
Install the cover and tighten the screws.

11.7. CARBURETOR ADJUSTMENT

The carburetor is a vital part of the engine. Adjusting should be left to our company authorized dealer
with the professional knowledge, specialized date, and equipment to do so properly.

12. PREPARATION FOR STORAGE

In order to avoid burning or fire due to contact with any hot part of the
generator, don't pack and store the generator before it is cooled.
If it need be stored for a long time, be sure the storage area is clean and dry.
1.
Drain the fuel in the fuel tank out, clean strainer, o-ring and sediment, then refit them well. Drain
fuel out of the carburetor by loosening the drain bolt, then refit it and screw the carburetor bolt tight.
Gasoline is extremely flammable and is explosive under certain conditions.
Drain fuel in a well ventilated area with the engine stopped. Never smoke or
allow flames or sparks in the area during this procedure.

Change the engine oil as previously described (see : engine oil change)
3.
Screw the spark plug as previously described. Pour about a tablespoon of clean engine oil into the
crankcase. Pull several times on the starter grip to distribute the oil, then reinstall the spark plug.
4.
Slowly pull the starter grip until resistance is felt. It allows to leave admission and escape valves
closed and so to prevent the humidity to enter into the breech
5.
Release slowly the starter grip.
6.
Place the generator in a clean area.
