1) INTRODUCTION
The system is able to manage:
• Audio/video systems with a maximum of 240 users and 10 main entrances (see diagrams on page 55).
• Call transfer from an external unit to internal extensions.
• Intercom between two internal extensions, even on different risers.
• A maximum of 10 unanswered calls.
• Putting on hold a call from an internal extension or from an external unit.
The system is equipped with:
• Backlit LCD display showing the current date and time, any unanswered calls, and the current operating mode.
• Personal directory with a maximum capacity of 400 names, with manual name entry from the alphanumeric keypad or downloading from a
PC using dedicated software Art. 1249/A.
• Internal clock with backup battery.
• 8 speed numbers for rapid calling.
• Bell with adjustment of volume to three levels (MAX - MIN - OFF).
• "TRANSFER" key to transfer a call from an external unit or to activate intercom between internal extensions.
• "MENU" key to access programming/settings.
• DAY mode to receive all calls over the bus.
• NIGHT mode:
- Calls from an external unit and those from internal extensions addressed to the switchboard (code 240) are intercepted by the system.
- Other external calls transit directly over the bus without any intervention by the system.
• Automatic DAY/NIGHT function to manage switching between DAY and NIGHT mode according to 4 user-defined time bands, with the
possibility of programming the system's operating mode for each day of the week.
• Free contact activated during bell ringing, for connection to call repeaters (if installed). (See terminals CH - CH, Figure 2.)
• Display of the name of the person called if found in the directory.
