Notes on safety for the operator
· any possibly existing protection against contact with moving parts
may neither be taken out of operation or their function disabled
while the system is in operation .
· if liquids should escape as a result of leakage, these are to
be absorbed or routed away such that no hazards can arise to persons or the
environment .
· hazards from electrical energy must be excluded .
· For this e .g . the specifications of vde and the local utility companies are to be
considered
· if hazards should occur in the system through hot or cold parts, these must be
provided with contact protection .
· easily inflammable materials are to be kept away from the product .
Notes on safety for installation and maintenance work
the operator of the system is responsible for ensuring that all assembly or main-
tenance work is carried out by qualified specialist personnel . they must have
familiarised themselves with the product beforehand on the basis of the operating
manual . Work on the pump must always be done with the system at a standstill .
a secure disconnection of the mains must be implemented .
Prescribed procedures for bringing the equipment to a standstill can be found in
the operating manual if necessary . On completion of the work, all protective de-
vices, such as for example contact protection, are to be attached again according
to regulations .
