Personnel qualification
the personnel used for mounting, operation and maintenance must
have relevant qualifications . areas of responsibility and monitoring of
personnel must be guaranteed by the owner/operator . if personnel
do not have the necessary know-how, they must be trained or ins-
tructed accordingly .
this device can be used by children at or above the age of 8 years, as well as by
persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or who lack expe-
rience and knowledge, if they are supervised or have been instructed concerning
the safe use of the device and they understand the hazards resulting arising it use .
children may not play with the device . cleaning and user maintenance may not be
implemented by children without supervision .
Hazards with non-observance of the notes on safety
if the notes on safety are not considered, this can have as consequence a hazard
to persons, environment and system . non-observance of the safety instructions
will lead to a loss of any damage claims . Possible hazards include for example:
· hazards to persons from electrical and mechanical influences .
· the failure of important functions of the system .
· hazard to the environment from the discharge of liquids as a result of leakage .
· Failure to carry out prescribed repair and maintenance work .
Safety-conscious working
the safety instructions listed in this manual and existing national accident preven-
tion regulations must be heeded . if the system owner-operator has issued internal
regulations, these must also be heeded .
