HART® Transmission
The RB223 is transparent for the transmission of the HART® signal i.e.
the HART® protocol can be transferred via the isolator.
The HART® signal is a frequency-modulated signal in the kilohertz
range which is superimposed on the loop current from 4 to 20 mA.
This makes it possible to communicate with HART®-enabled devices
and to make additional settings or to read out device parameters in
parallel with the loop current.
