INTRODUCTION
Medium weatherproof housing for general
use.
Its modern design and internal dimensions
make it suitable for most of the 1/3" and
1/4" cameras equipped with fixed-focus len-
ses or small zoom lenses available on the
market. The particular camera opening and
fixing systems make installation easier. This
housing guarantees a weatherproof stan-
dard IP66 and thanks to the wide range of
accessories available, such as heater kit,
blower kit, camera power supply, sunshield,
it allows both indoor and outdoor installa-
tions. It is equipped with two PG9 cable
glands for external connections and is avai-
lable in the 220, 260 and 300mm versions.
Turn off the power before performing
any operations.

Camera housing and accessories
How to install the camera
This chapter describes how to install the
camera into the housing. We wish to remind
our customers that power supply can be
drawn from the power supply or heating cir-
cuit, if available, after checking that the right
supply voltage is used.
1. Remove the body by unscrewing the
two screws placed on the rear cover
plate.
2. Move the internal slide sideways to
enter its lower part (fig. 3 point 1).
3. Put the insulating washer between the
1/4" screw and the lower part of the
slide, set the insulating spacer
between the camera and the upper
part of the slide (fig. 2 point 1), tigh-
ten the 1/4" screw and position the
camera wherever wished (fig. 2 point
2).
4. If necessary use the additional spa
cers for a proper positioning of the
camera and of the zoom lenses.
5. Re-set the slide in the working position
and close the housing.
How to install the heater kit
controlled
This chapter describes how to install the hea-
ter kit option in the dustproof housings that
are not equipped with it. The power input of
the heater kit can be 12-24VDC/VAC or
115-230VAC versions. We wish to remind
our customers that the heater kit option can
be mounted together with the blower kit only
if the power input of the latter is 12VDC or
24VAC.
1. Remove the body by unscrewing the
two screws on the rear cover plate.
2. Rotate the internal slide in order to
allow access to its lower part (fig. 3
point 1).
3. Fix the PTC element, by means of the
relevant plate, on the lowest part of
the internal slide (point 2). Let the
wires run along the guides (point 3)
and let them go through the relevant
hole (point 4).
