  • Page 4 Kapitel 1: Babyüberwachung Gerät komplettieren - Akku einsetzen Zuerst nehmen Sie bitte den Gürtelclip ab (an der Feder ziehen und Clip nach oben schieben) und öffnen Sie den Batteriedeckel (Klammer nach unten ausrasten lassen und Deckel abnehmen. Setzen Sie in jedes Gerät je einen der beiden mitgelieferten Akkublocks ein (diese finden Sie wegen der Frachtbestimmungen separat verpackt).

  • Page 6 Anzeige von Alarmen Auch bei evtl. leise oder auf „Aus“ gestelltem Lautsprecher (z.B. LE 00) sehen Sie auch am Aufleuchten der Beleuchtung am Elterngerät, ob sich das Babygerät gemeldet hat. • Bei jedem Alarm schaltet sich für etwa 5 Sekunden die Displaybeleuchtung ein. Bedeutung der Kanalnummer Die Nummer des Übertragungskanals muss bei beiden Geräten gleich eingestellt sein.

Genau zu diesem Zweck legt das Babygerät in Position 4 nach 20 Sekunden Übertragungszeit eine Pause ein, die 10 Sekunden dauert. • In diesen 10 Sekunden Pause können Sie auch bei einem ständig schreienden Baby zum Baby sprechen.

    Manueller Reichweitentest Unabhängig von der automatischen Reichweitenkontrolle beim Gegengerät gibt es noch den manuellen Reichweitentest. Dieser Test funktioniert auch, wenn beim Babygerät die automatische Reichweitenkontrolle ausgeschaltet sein sollte! Hier können Sie gezielt durch Tastendruck feststellen, ob das andere Gerät noch in Reichweite ist.
  • Page 9 Kapitel 2 : Erweiterte Funktionen und Verwendung als PMR 446 Funkhandy Im Lieferzustand (oder nachdem Sie Ihre Geräte ohne eingesetzte Batterien gelagert haben) sind beide Geräte im gleichberechtigten Funkhandy Betriebszustand. So können Sie als Funksprechgeräte für die verschiedensten Zwecke benutzt werden, als Sprechanlage für ältere Kinder, bei Wanderungen, Ausflügen, Veranstaltungen, bei Arbeiten im und am Haus, wo eine Verständigung notwendig ist, und bei vielen anderen Einsatzmöglichkeiten.

    • Sie können mit zwischen umschalten. Für den Funkhandy-Mode nehmen Sie (= Babymode OFF) • Drücken Sie kurz die Sendetaste oder warten Sie einfach 5 Sekunden Lautstärke • Die Lautstärke stellen Sie mit den Tasten ein. Im Display werden die Stufen LE 00 bis LE 09 angezeigt (LE = Lautstärke Einstellung) Kanalauswahl Sie haben die Möglichkeit, die europaweit zugelassenen 8 PMR 446 Kanäle 1-8 zu benutzen.
  • Page 11 Sendersuchlauf Mit der Taste (kurz drücken) können Sie alle Kanäle Ihres Funkgeräts nacheinander automatisch auf Aktivität absuchen. • Drücken Sie die Taste, der Suchlauf startet, drücken Sie erneut, stoppt der Suchlauf wieder. • Sobald ein Signal gefunden wurde, stoppt der Suchlauf und Sie hören für max. 8 Sekunden den Funkverkehr auf diesem Kanal.

Insert a supplied battery pack in each unit (packed separately). The automatic out-of-range function automatically checks every 60 seconds if baby and parent units are communicating. The parent unit sends a “search pulse”, which is answered by the baby unit.
