Beforehand undo the M4 setscrew fitted at the side far enough to ensure that
the screw is not damaged (see "Zeichnungen / Drawings / Dessins" page 18).
Close the housing in the reverse order.
Caution:
• Observe caution when fitting the glass holding ring - it is imperative to
ensure that the flameproof thread is not damaged (explosion protection)!
• At least five load-bearing thread turns must engage (explosion protection)!
• Firmly screw down the setscrew again to protect against turning.
Check the condition of the flameproof thread gaps (on the housing and glass
holding ring).
• Is the visual state of the threads correct?
• Are the turn of thread gaps undamaged?
• Do at least five undamaged thread turns engage?

Corroded gaps must not be cleaned with abrasives or wire brushes and
may only be cleaned chemically, e.g. with reducing oils from ESSO, type
Vassol or similar.
To avoid corrosion, the flameproof gaps must be treated regularly with an
acid-free grease that is compatible with aluminium. Corrosion protection
by coating with paint is fundamentally forbidden!
Repairs to the flameproof enclosed housing are not permitted and must
always be carried out at the manufacturing works. Components may only
ever be replaced with original spare parts!
