Wipe off any dust from the surface of the
product with a soft cloth. When necessary
clean with a cloth moistened with a mild
detergent and then dry with a soft cloth.
Do not use petrol, solvent or strong
detergent. This can damage or discolour
the product.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Problem
The product does not start
even though it is plugged
in and switched on and
the thermostat is set to the
required mode.
The heater element glows.
The fan is working, but the
product does not get hot.
Abnormal noise.
Possible cause
No power supply.
Voltage too high.
The air inlet is blocked.
Heating mode not set.
The set thermostat value
has been reached.
The overheating protection
has tripped.
The product is not correctly
positioned.
STORAGE
Pull out the plug and cover over the
product to protect it from dust if it is not
going to be used for some time.
Store the product in a cool, dry and well
ventilated place.
Action
Plug the plug into a power point
that is supplied with power.
Check that the mains voltage
corresponds to the rated voltage
on the type plate.
Make sure there are no foreign
objects that can block the air
inlet, such as curtains, plastic
bags or paper etc., near the
product.
Set the required heating mode.
Turn the thermostat dial
and listen for a click when
the thermostat is activated/
deactivated. If you do not hear
a click and the thermostat is not
damaged the product will start
automatically when it has cooled.
Switch off the product, pull out
the plug, and check that the
inlet or outlet openings are
not blocked. Wait at least 10
minutes so that the overheating
protection has time to reset
before starting the product again.
Place the product on a level
surface.
