IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

Drainastim Pro
is intended for active and healthy people with problems caused by pro-
longed periods of standing or sitting, and is designed to:
• REDUCE FOOT AND ANKLE SWELLING
• RELIEVE THE SENSATION OF HEAVY AND PAINFUL LEGS
• IMPROVE CIRCULATION
Contraindications - do not use in the following cases:
• If you have a pacemaker or ICD (Implantable Cardioverter Defibrillator)
• You are pregnant
• You are receiving treatment for or have symptoms of deep vein thrombosis (DVT)
Long periods of inactivity put you at greater risk of developing deep vein thrombosis
(DVT). DVT is characterized by a blood clot that usually forms in the deep veins of the
legs. If a part of the DVT becomes detached, it can lead to dangerous complications such
as a pulmonary embolism.
If you have been inactive for prolonged periods, and think you may be suffering from
DVT, consult your doctor immediately. To prevent the clot from moving, do not use your
Drainastim Pro.
Certain types of DVT have no symptoms. However, it is important to note that symptoms
may include:
• Pain, swelling or tenderness in the leg (usually in the calf )
• Dull pain in the affected area
• Warmer skin in the area of the clot
• Redness of the skin, especially at the back of the leg, below the knee
Consult your doctor as soon as possible if you notice any of the above symptoms.
Warnings
Do not use on or near a specific part of the body or affected area in the following cases:
• Pregnant woman - uterus/belly
• Lesion or cutaneous wound - dress any open wound so that the electrodes do not
come into contact with the affected area and to avoid a prickling sensation
• Tissue bleeding (internal/external)
• Epilepsy - do not use the electrodes on the neck area
• Malignancy/tumor
• Eyes, testicles
• Infected tissue (including cellulite)
