PREPARATION FOR OPERATION

SELECTION OF WORKING TOOL
Below table presents examples of use for various working tools.
Name: HSS blade for metal
Type of material: Metal (e.g. nails, bolts, small sections), non-ferrous
metals .
Intended use: Small dividing and plunge cutting.
Example: Cutting narrow sections short, cutting joining elements,
e.g. clamps.
Name: Half-round HCS wheel for wood
Type of material: Wood, wood-based materials, plastics.
Intended use: Dividing and plunge cutting in corners and hardly
accessible places, near surface.
Example: Narrow plunge cuts in solid wood, e.g. for air grates.
Name: HCS blade for wood
Type of material: Wood, wood-based materials, plastics.
Intended use: Dividing and plunge cutting in corners and hardly
accessible places, near surface.
Example: Cut outs in furniture boards, cutting cove bases short,
plunge cutting for fitting floor panels
Name: Half-round wheel with tungsten coat
Type of material: Cement joints, soft ceramic tiles, hard plastics and
other materials.
Intended use: Cutting short and cutting off close to edges, in
corners and hardly accessible places.
Example: Removal of joint, cutting holes in ceramic tiles and plastics.

Type of material: Wood, wood-based materials, abrasive materials.
Intended use: Sanding in hardly accessible places and in corners on
a hard ground.

Name: Stiff scraper
Type of material: Linings, floors, ceramic tiles.
Intended use: Scraping soft materials on a hard ground.
Example: Removal of mortar residues, glue for lining or ceramic tiles.
INSTALLATION AND REPLACEMENT OF SANDING PAPER
Sanding pad is equipped with hook-and-loop attachment system
for quick and easy replacement of sanding paper. Choose sanding
paper with appropriate gradation depending on the processed
material and desired level of material removal. All types of sanding
paper, abrasive cloths and polishing felt are allowed.
Use only appropriate sanding paper with holes (perforated).
• Put the sanding paper close to the sanding pad (1).
• Place the sanding paper so its holes (a) match with the holes on
the sanding pad (1).
• Press the sanding paper against the sanding pad (1).
• Make sure that the holes on the sanding paper and sanding pad
fully match; it ensures optimal conditions for dust extraction.
• To remove sanding paper, lift edge of it on one side and pull (fig. A).
INSTALLATION OF WORKING TOOLS
• Remove working tool if already installed.
• Use hexagonal key to unscrew the fixing screw (6), remove washer
and remove the working tool.
• Place working tool in the tool holder, make sure to close latch joint
of the tool and tool holder.
• You can place working tools onto the tool holder in any latching
position (fig. B) to allow for operation most comfortable and safe
for the user.
• Working tool should be installed with bend pointing down.
• Place washer and tighten the screw (6) to install working tool.
Check that the tool is installed properly. Improperly or
inaccurately installed working tools can slip during operation and
cause risk for the user.
DUST EXTRACTION
Dust of some materials may be hazardous to health, like paint
coatings with lead additives, some types of wood e.g. oak or
beech or materials with asbestos. Therefore, we recommend use
of external dust extraction systems, good workplace ventilation
