instructions in this leaflet carefully and keep them
within reach.

Prevention of accidents at home
For a child, even a slight burn may sometimes be
serious.
As they grow up, teach your children to be careful
around hot appliances in the kitchen.
If you do use your appliance in the company of
children:
• Always use it under adult supervision.
• Never touch the hot surfaces of the appliance.
• Never plug the appliance when not in use.
If an accident occurs,
rinse the burn immediately
with cold water and call a doctor if necessary.
Assembly
Place the appliance on a flat, stable, heat-resistant
surface: avoid using it on a soft surface such as a
tea-towel.
Do not place the appliance on or near slippery or hot
surfaces, never leave the cord hanging over a heat
source (cooking plates, gas cooker...).
Open the appliance.
Remove any packaging, stickers or accessories
inside and outside the appliance.
On first use, pour a little oil on the plates. Wipe off
with an absorbant kitchen towel.
