2-3. Single UPS Installation

Installation and wiring must be performed in accordance with the local electric laws/regulations and execute
the following instructions by professional personnel.
1) Make sure the mains wire and breakers in the building are in compliance with the standard of rated
capacity of UPS to avoid the hazards of electric shock or fire.
NOTE: Do not use the wall receptacle as the input power source for the UPS, as its rated current is less than
the UPS's maximum input current. Otherwise the receptacle may be burned and destroyed.
2) Switch off the mains switch in the building before installation
3) Turn off all the devices that need to be connected before connecting them to the UPS.
4) Prepare wires based on the following table:

5) Remove the terminal block cover from the rear panel of the UPS. Then connect the wires according to
the following terminal block diagrams: (Connect the ground wire first when connecting the wires. Disconnect
the ground wire last when disconnecting wires!)
6) Put the terminal block cover back on the rear panel of the UPS.

NOTE 1: The cable for E4 VALUE 4000 should be able to withstand a current of over 25A. Using at
least 4mm² or 12AWG-thick wire is recommended for safety and efficiency.
NOTE 2: The cable for E4 VALUE 5000/5000 B+/6000 should be able to withstand a current of over
32A. . Using at least 6mm² or 10AWG-thick wire is recommended for safety and efficiency.
NOTE 3: The cable for E4 VALUE 10k should be able to withstand a current of over 50A. . Using at
least 10mm² or 8AWG-thick wire is recommended for safety and efficiency.
NOTE 4: in the electrical power board, install a main power breaker. In case of use of earth leakage
