Possible causes and solutions
A large quantity of warm food has recently been placed in
the appliance.
The temperature outside the appliance is too high.
The doors are opened too frequently or for too long.
If you have just installed your appliance or have switched
it on again after an extended period of downtime.
Make sure that sufficient ventilation is provided when food is placed
inside the appliance. Check that door is properly closed. Refer
to the "Cleaning" section if you intend to defrost the appliance.
You may have left the doors open for too long or opened them too
frequently. It is also possible that the doors may have remained open due
to an obstacle; or that there is insufficient space around the appliance.
Increase the temperature by referring to the section on "Appliance
controls".
Check that the top of the refrigerator is leaning backwards by 10 to
15 mm to allow the doors to close automatically or whether an item
inside the appliance may be preventing the doors from closing.
The water tank (located at the back of the refrigerator) may not be
level or the spout (located under the top of the compressor) is not
pointing towards this tank properly or may be blocked. You may
need to pull out the refrigerator to check the tank and the spout.
The light may be damaged. See the section on cleaning and
maintenance to replace the lights.
