Water collection tank

CLEANING
ift the tank carefully by holding it in both hands.

Unscrew the spout and clean it and the tank with soap and water, leaving them to dry in the
open air or dry with a soft cloth.
The water collection tank may start to overflow after it has been used several times. Wipe down
regularly with a dry cloth to prevent overflowing. Remove the wire grill at the top of the water
collection tank to do so.
FREEZER COMPARTMENT
The freezer compartment can be used to freeze fresh products and to store frozen products.
The quantity of food to be frozen must not exceed the quantity written on the nameplate. If the
quantity to be frozen exceeds this value, it is still possible to freeze the food in separate parcels.
Freezing fresh food
• Only freeze high-quality food after it had been cleaned and prepared if necessary.
• Allow prepared foods to cool down to ambient temperature before placing them in the freezer.
• All products to be frozen must be wrapped in polyethylene bags, aluminium freezer trays or
plastic boxes. These parcels must be tightly sealed.
• The size of each parcel should corresponds to the quantity consumed by the family so that they
can be used at a single sitting. Products can be frozen quickly and evenly if the parcels are small.
• Do not freeze quantities exceeding the freezing capacity of the appliance indicated on the
nameplate all at once.
• A defrosted product must never be refrozen.
• Do not place liquids in their glass packaging, bottles or cans of fizzy drinks in the freezer
as they could explode.
• Do not consume ice lollies straight from the freezer as this can cause burns linked to the cold.
