Temperature indicator

Your appliance is fitted with a temperature indicator located in the coldest area to help you to
adjust you appliance correctly.
In order to properly preserve the food in the refrigerator, particularly in the coldest part, make
sure that the temperature indicator shows the word "OK".
The symbol opposite indicates the coldest zone in your refrigerator. It defines the
top of this area.
If the word "OK" is not shown, the average temperature in this area is too high. Adjust
the temperature control to a colder position.
Each time the temperature adjustment button is changed, wait for the temperature inside the
appliance to stabilise before making a new adjustment, if this is necessary. Change the position
of the temperature control gradually and wait for at least 12 hours before checking again.
NB: after filling the appliance with fresh food or after opening the door repeatedly (or for a
prolonged period), it is normal for the "OK" message to disappear from the temperature indicator.
Wait at least 12 hours before resetting the temperature control.

Use

Starting
Once the appliance is correctly installed, we recommend that you clean the interior with slightly
soapy warm water (washing-up liquid).
Do not use an abrasive product or scouring powder as this could damage the finish.
Use
Household refrigerators are intended exclusively for the preservation of fresh food and drinks
and the short-term preservation of frozen products.
Food safety
The increasing consumption of ready meals and other sensitive foods means that the transport
and storage temperature of food needs to be better controlled:
• Store the most sensitive foods in the coldest zone of the appliance according to the indications
provided in this manual (temperature indicator section).
• Limit the number of times the door is opened.
• Position the temperature control adjustment to reduce the temperature. This adjustment
must be made gradually to prevent the food from freezing.
