COMMISSIONING
CAUTIONS
1. A mobile device with Honeywell Fixed Platform App installed is a prerequisite for detector settings
adjustment made via the Bluetooth connection.
2. Commissioning or proof test of
that it functions according to its specifications.
1. Check that Searchline Excel Plus units are mounted and wired correctly. Refer to Installation section of
Technical Manual for instructions.
2. Check that Searchline Excel Plus units are optically aligned correctly. Refer to Alignment section of
Technical Manual for instructions.
3. Connect to Honeywell Fixed Platform App via Bluetooth.
4. Power up Searchline Excel Plus transmitter and receiver units.
5. Perform functional check and 4–20 mA Loop Integrity Test. Refer to Commissioning section of Technical
Manual for instructions.
6. Check that Searchline Excel Plus units are configured as recommended by the relevant site survey
document.
7. If necessary, adjust detector settings utilising Honeywell Fixed Platform App.
8. Check that Searchline Excel Plus safety outputs are working properly. Refer to Maintenance section of
Technical Manual for instructions.
