11. Install the Shower Door Magnets and Seals
NOTE: Prior to installing the shower door, there are three seals and two magnets that must be installed
into five parts before installing the shower door.
The seals and magnets are located inside the header kit.
Locate and install the 69-3/4" (177.2 cm) beige colored flexible magnet into the strike jamb as shown
in the strike jamb view.
Take care to orient the magnet polarization indictor rib as shown.
Locate and install the 69-3/4" (177.2 cm) flat magnet into the shower door panel handle. Orient the
magnet polarity groove as shown in the door panel view.
Apply a small amount of caulk or silicone sealant to the end of the magnet that will be at the
bottom of the panel. Use tape to hold the magnet in place until the silicone cures.
Locate and install the 68-7/8" (177.5 cm) long clear hollow vinyl seal in the flange jamb as shown in
the flange jamb view.
Locate the 25" (63.5 cm) long clear hollow vinyl seals. Install one seal into each of the two bridge
members as shown in the bridge member view. It may be necessary to trim the ends of the seals
flush to the bridge member.
