with the Model Vehicle
a) Connecting drive battery
Before connecting the drive battery with the cruise control, start using the remote control transmitter and check the
function of the transmitter in accordance with the instructions for use.
To prevent a sudden starting of the wheels and therefore an
uncontrolled starting of the model, place the model vehicle on a
suitable wooden block (1) or similar, so that the wheels can turn
freely in case there is a fault scenario.
Now connect the drive battery with the cruise control with the
help of the plug (2) that is protected against polarity reversal.
Slide the cruise control switch in the "ON" position and check the drive and steering functions as well as the necessary
trim values of your vehicle in accordance with the instructions of the operating instructions of the remote control.
Should the electric motor not stop, when the control lever for the driving function is in the idling mode,
then the drive regulation must be programmed.
Please pay attention to the operating instructions included for the drive regulation. In these, you will find
a complete description of how the programming is to be done, or, respectively, which programming
functions are available.
b) Programming of electronic cruise control
When programming a cruise control, the control "learns" the steering signals of the transmitter for the individual posi-
tions of motor off, full throttle and forward or braking.
Please consult the cruise control operating instructions to learn how to perform the programming.
Our tip:
Before you program the cruise control you should make sure that there are no limitations for the throttle
function programmed on the transmitter and that the throttle trim is exactly in the centre position.
If you only use 95% of the steering path for the full throttle position during programming, this makes
sure that during the later use the steering path of the controller is fully used and that the entire battery
voltage is therefore transferred completely to the motor.
