Troubleshooting
Problem
The water is cloudy
and foam forms
The sprinkler (2)
loosens constantly
and falls into the
sprout screen
You cannot attach the
sprout barrel (5) onto
the water barrel (7)
You removed the lid
(1) to let more light
on the sprouts Now
the worktop is wet
When powered on,
the sprinkler system
does not start up,
even after waiting 10
min

Possible Reason
The water is not being
changed daily
The sprinkler (2) is
clogged
You inserted the water
tube (4) from the top
too far into the opening
of the sprout screen (3)
hence it is not enough
room for the water
pressure control tube (6)
The water pressure is
too high
A temperature sensor
in the motor chamber
controls the sprinkler
system Your sprouts'
water supply depends
on a few factors (season,
outside temperature,
water temperature, etc )
Solution
As a general rule the sprouts will not be
adversely affected if the water is not changed
every day However, for a delicious tasting,
healthy harvest of sprouts it is advisable to
change the water at least once a day
If for any reason you should not be able to
change the water for a few days, the addition
of 3% hydrogen peroxide (2 tablespoons in
the filling water) or a drop of grapefruit extract
will reduce the growth of bacteria This will
increase the chances of your sprouts surviving
the time successfully
Replace the sprinkler (2) with the replacement
sprinkler, and try to clean the clogged up
sprinkler (see pg 11) or take 3% hydrogen
peroxide (2 tablespoons) or a drop of
grapefruit extract
Remove the sprout screen (3) and the water
tube (4) Reposition the sprout screen by
putting it over the water pressure control tube
(6) Afterwards, you insert the water tube from
the top into the opening of the sprout screen
(the water tube pieces "share" the room in the
sprout screen opening)
Turn the turning device of the water pressure
control tube (6) to the right (clockwise, see pg
8) to reduce the pressure The water pressure
decreases and the water will not splash over
the edge of the sprout barrel (5)
Be patient for a few more minutes As soon as
the sprinkler (2) starts up you can be certain
that everything is o k Then it will water your
sprouts in various intervals – usually a few
times per hour
If your sprinkler has not started up after 30
minutes, contact your importer (see pg 2,
Importer and Service Centre)
