B. Setting up appliance
3. Assemble FreshLife
• Assemble a water tube (4) with the water
pressure control tube (6) Position the turning
device of the water pressure control tube in
the middle of the water barrel (7)
• Fill the water barrel with pure water (i e
filtered or distilled water) up to the marking
(approx 4 cm below the rim) You must
change the water at least once a day (see pg
13, Troubleshooting)
• Place the sprout barrel (5) on the water barrel
• Ridges on the four bars of the sprout screen
(3) will help you to lower the filled screen
into the sprout barrel (5) After that, you can
lay the second screen into the sprout barrel
the same way (with the smooth side facing
up) The second sprout screen does not
impair the growth of the seeds on the lower
screen It is necessary so that the water jet of
the sprinkler (2) does not wash the seeds to
the edge of the screen You can remove the
top screen after the seeds have germinated
(approx after 1-3 days)
• Assemble two further water tube pieces (4)
and insert them through the screen in the
middle of the sprout barrel
• Place the sprinkler (2) onto the water tube (4)
and put the cover lid (1) on your FreshLife
• Insert the power plug of your FreshLife
the appropriate outlet
Caution: The sprinkler system starts opera-
ting as soon as you press the on/off switch
(if the water does not start sprinkling within
a few minutes, make sure that you have
correctly assembled the water tubes; see pg
26)
• In intervals, your sprouts and seeds will now
be sprinkled with water several times per
hour
