USING THE MACHINE
the machine. Your dealer can provide you
with all the information on the most suit-
able accident-prevention devices to guar-
antee your safety.
5) Mow only in daylight or good artificial light.
6) Do not let the vacuum tube suck up the
electric cord. Use the cable clamp to pre-
vent the extension lead from disconnecting
accidentally. Make sure it is connected to
the socket without being forced. Never
touch a live electric cable if it is poorly in-
sulated. If the extension lead gets damaged
during use, do not touch the cable and un-
plug the extension lead immediately.
7) Stop the motor and unplug the machine
from the mains:
– whenever you leave the machine unat-
tended;
– before cleaning, checking or working
on the machine;
– if the machine starts to vibrate abnor-
mally: find the cause of the vibration
immediately and have it inspected at a
Specialised Centre;
– when the machine is not in use.
• Fasten the snap hook on the support strap (1) to
the power unit and adjust the length (Fig. 4).
1. USE AS A BLOWER (Fig. 5)
WARNING!
The machine must always
be firmly gripped with your right hand on the
upper handgrip during work.
Motor speed should be adjusted to the type of ma-
terial to be removed:
– use the motor at low speed for lightweight ma-
terial and small bushes on the lawn;
– use the motor at average speed to move grass
and lightweight leaves on pavement or solid
ground;
– use the motor at high speed for heavier materi-
als like fresh snow or voluminous dirt.
WARNING!
Always pay the utmost at-
tention to prevent removed material or dust
from injuring people or animals or damaging
property. Always assess wind direction and
never work against the wind.

chine must always be firmly held in both
hands, with the left hand on the upper hand-
grip and the right hand on the handgrip incor-
porated in the vacuum tube, so that the bag is
on the operator's right.
When used as a vacuum collector, it is best to use
the motor at average/high speed.
During collection, keep the rounded end of the tu-
be a few centimetres off the ground.
The bag also works as a filter similar to a common
home vacuum. For this reason it is best that:
– it is always free to expand and the support strap
– it is not fully filled;
– collected objects that could jeopardise integrity
To empty the bag:
– switch the motor off;
– unfasten the bag from the tube and power unit;
– open the zipper (1) and empty the bag.
