3.7 Splitting/Reconnecting the frame
Belts cannot be opened like a chain. Therefore, bicycles with a belt drive must have a frame splitter. The Sneak+ has a
frame splitter located above the right dropout. If you want to install a new belt, you'll have to split the frame.

Splitting the frame
Before splitting the frame and removing the belt, make sure to reduce the belt's tension by adjusting the dropouts (see "3.6
Adjustable dropouts" on page 44).
1. Remove both bolts (2) above the right dropout using a 5mm hex wrench.
2. Push the splitter (1) out of the frame.
→ Once the frame is split, you can remove the drive belt from the frame and install a new one.
Reconnecting the frame
1. Clean the frame splitter (1) and the splitter mount inside the frame.
2. Fit the frame splitter in the frame.
3. Insert the bolts (2) through the frame splitter and tighten them to a torque of 6 Nm.
4. Tension the belt/chain (see "3.6 Adjustable dropouts" on page 44).
