OPERATION

1.
Remove the kettle from the base.
2.
Press the opening button on top
of the handle. The lid is released
and can be open.
3.
Fill the kettle with water (mini-
mum 0.5 litres, mark MIN, maxi-
mum 1.7 litres, mark MAX).
4.
CAUTION!
If the kettle is overfilled, boiling
water may be ejected!
5.
Close the lid until it clicks into
place. The locking prevents acci-
dental opening.
6.
Place the kettle level on the base
in order to establish the contact
with the power connection.
7.
Switch on the kettle by pressing
the ON/OFF switch downwards
into the „I"-position. The kettle
cannot be switched on if it is not
properly seated on the base.
8.
Whenever you take the kettle off
the base, the appliance is auto-
matically switched off, even if the
water is not yet boiling.
9.
The kettle automatically stops
heating at the latest when the
water boils.
10. ATTENTION:
The automatic switch-off only
works, if the lid is correctly closed.
11. Of course you may also push the
switch into the „O"-position to
interrupt heating.

12. CAUTION!
Ensure that the kettle is switched
off before removing it from the
base.
13. Please allow the product to cool
down for a certain time before
using the kettle again to heat
water.
14. The kettle is fitted with a dry-
operation cutout that switches off
the heating elements when they
become too hot, for instance when
the kettle has boiled dry. Allow
the kettle to cool down. Then fill
the kettle with cold water. This
will reset the cutout so that the
kettle can be used again.
15. Always use fresh and cold water.
Do not leave water in the kettle.
16. Switch off and unplug electrical
appliances after use.
