- Press the discharge key "DISCHARGE" after inser-
ting the accumulators into the charging set (see the
item "How to charge accumulators").
- The discharging operation will then start. This is sig-
nalled by the charging condition LED being lit orange.
- After the accumulators are completely discharged the
rapid charging procedure will begin automatically
with the charging condition LED changing over to red.
Refreshing function
This function resets the "accumulation state" of the
accumulators. This is recommended if your accumu-
lators should no longer function properly.

The discharging operation, while under
way, may be ceased by pressing the
discharging key "DISCHARGE" and chan-
ging over to the rapid charging mode beco-
mes possible. The accompanying high-
efficiency NiMH accumulators from Conrad
Energy have no memory effect. This means
that you may recharge the accumulators
even if they are not completely discharged
yet. The highpower capability of these cells
makes them ideally suited for use in digital
cameras, radio sets or the like.
