2. 12V adapter cable: Plug the 12V adapter cable into
a cigarette lighter jack. The existence of a voltage on
the DC plug is signalled by a red LED on the adapter
cable.
If the red LED should not go on check the cigarette
lighter jack or the fuse in the connection plug (2 A,
quickaction) for its functionality. Using the set while
driving a car is not permitted.
Insert the DC plug of the voltage supply chosen by you
into the inlet jack at the upper front-end face of the
BTL-1 charging set.
How to charge accumulators
- Place the accumulators to be charged in the char-
ging set. 2 or 4 Mignon or Micro accumulators may
be charged at a time. A single accumulator or three
accumulators will not be charged.
- Use the selector switch to choose the number of
accumulators to be inserted (2 or 4). If you charge 2
accumulators place them in the two left-hand aper-
tures.
- The charging set will now automatically change
over to the rapid charging mode. This is signalled
by the charging condition LED (LED on the right-
hand side) being lit red.
