How to connect a game console

• Connect the HBC 1 base station to the "Digital Audio" output of your game console by using
the supplied optical or coaxial S/PDIF cable.
• Make sure that the "Digital Audio" output is selected as playback device in the audio setup of
your game console. The exact description varies depending on the device, e.g. S/PDIF.
• It depends on the sound design of the game, whether the audio playback is in stereo,
Pro Logic or 5.1 Surround. You can see from the packaging of the game, if your game supports
multi-channel sound (surround), e.g. a Dolby Digital logo on the packaging.
• Connect the headphone of the MMX 300 headset to the headphone output of the HBC 1 base
station by using the supplied 1/4" adapter (6.35 mm).
• Connect the microphone of the MMX 300 to the microphone input of your game console.
If necessary, use the supplied extension cable with mini jack plug (3.5 mm).
