4.2 Operating the display

There are three buttons on the display:
A. On/Off button for the rotation sensor
Press this button to activate the assistance system. After
switching it on, a running light appears on the battery
indicator. When this running light stops, the system has
started up. Switch the system back off by pressing this
button again.
B. Regulation of degree of assistance
Press this button to regulate the degree of assistance. There
are four options which you can choose by pressing the
button repeatedly.
No assistance: choose this option when you want to cycle
independently without assistance from the motor (ill. 24).
Eco - Economic assistance: this option costs you
minimum battery power and can be selected for longer
distances or when you require minimum assistance from
your motor (ill. 25).
Normal- Normal assistance: select this option for
average motor assistance (ill. 26).
Boost- Extra assistance: select this option if you require
maximum assistance, when cycling uphill for example
(ill. 27).
C. On/Off button for the bike lighting
Press this button to manually switch on the bike lighting and
display lighting. Press the button again to switch the lighting
back off (ill. 28).
D. Indication of the battery capacity
The LEDs indicate the power left in the battery. See 3.2
Checking your battery status.
