8 MAINTENANCE

This product, being a mechanical device mounted outside the shell of the
vehicle, it is exposed to weather and could endure extreme temperatures
and wet / dirty environments for long periods of time. The unit is tested
against these situations but to ensure a long life of the product, some
maintenance is required:

Use "Kluber FWL 2 SW" or equivalent for the motor unit.

Some soaps are aggressive to aluminum or polymers, use only
compatible substances.

heavy snow, sand, mud, off-road driving; the salt from sea
water or from salt spreaders is corrosive to metals and must not
stagnate in the device.
TASK
Full cleaning inside the unit,
checking grease on

Cleaning of the tread, check

bolts/nuts
General check for solidity
The bottom side of the tread is as important as the top because dirt
and snow can accumulate and can be moved inside, along with the
tread. The vibrations of the vehicle will then facilitate the deposit of
the dirt on the tracks, so the cleaning of the tread must include every
side of it.
If spare parts are required, please contact Customer Service, listing
the information provided on the metallic sticker on the back of the
unit, including the model, and serial number.
