Trouble shooting
Problem
Drops are coming out of the steam
vents
when starting or after ironing breaks.
This is normal (hose is cold — steam
condenses).
No steam at all
Only little steam develops
Lime scale particles coming through
the
steam vents.

Hold the iron over a cloth and press the steam control
button until the steam production has normalised.
Turn the temperature dial (12) to the steam position
between •• and MAX.
Turn down the steam regulator.
Switch the main switch (4) to steam position
Press the steam release button (11)
Remark: Sometimes hot steam is hardly visible espe-
cially when the room temperature is high or the iron
temperature is near to max.
After switching on the steam function (4) wait until the
"Steam ready" pilot light (1) stops flashing (approx. 3
minutes).
Check if the "Water empty" pilot light (2) is on. Refill th
appliance with water if necessary.
Flush the boiler with tap water (see section "Cleaning
the boiler").
Add distilled water to the tap water (see section "filling
with water").
Help
Turn the steam control to a higher position (3).
