This appliance has been designed exclusively
for domestic use and must not be used for
professional purposes.
A) Introduction
Thank you for buying the Professional Steam Sta- -
tion sensixx B15L from Bosch. Please read these
instructions very well. They contain valuable infor- -
mation about the unique features of this system
and some hints to make the ironing easier.
This system produces non stop steam for an ideal
ironing performance. We hope you enjoy ironing
with this steam station.
B) General description

C) Getting Ready
1. Remove any label or protective covering from
the sole plate.
2. Place the appliance on a stable level surface.

D) Filling with water.
1. Switch the main switch (4) to the OFF positio
and remove the mains plug from the wall socke
before filling the water tank.
2. Open the water inlet lid (9).
3. Use the provided beaker to fill the tank wit
water.
4. Fill the tank with water until the MAX-mark.
Important
• Normal tap water can be used. If the water in
your region is very hard we advise you to mix
with an equal amount of distilled or deminera
sed water. This will prolong the optimal steam
function of the steam station. You can inquir
about the water hardness with your local wate
supplier.
• Never use distilled water exclusively
• To avoid any damage and or contamination o
the system, do not put in any perfume, vinegar
starch or other type of chemical into the wate
tank.
• Do not use condensation water from tumble
dryers, fridges or the like.
E) Setting the temperature
1. Check the ironing instruction label on th
garment to determine the correct ironing tem
perature
2. Place the iron on the iron stand (16).
3. Insert the mains plug into the mains supply an
then set the main switch (4) either to the DRY
IRON or STEAM IRON position.
4. Select the right temperature on the iron b
rotating the temperature dial (12)

5. The steam function ready light will flash duri
heating up taking approximate 2 – 3 minutes
(For first time use, the pre-heating time can
be 4 minutes.)
Tips:
• Sort your garments out based on their cleaning
symbol labels. Always starting ironing with cloth
