Toasting Bread Rolls

CAUTION!
❐ Beware of the build-up of heat! Never place the bread rolls directly on the toasting
slots. Use the roll warming rack only for toasting bread rolls, do not place any slices of
bread or objects on the roll warming rack.
❐ Caution - risk of burns! When using the roll warming rack, adjust the degree of toasting to
a low level in order to prevent the rolls burning and the device overheating!
❐ Caution - risk of burns! The rolls may become very hot on the outside. Use kitchen tongs
to turn the rolls if necessary.
❐ Never toast bread with the roll warming rack in position. You could burn yourself when
removing the bread.
1. Take the roll warming rack and fold down the two clips.
2. Insert the clips into the toasting slots.
3. Place no more than two bread rolls on the roll warming rack.
4. Select a low degree of toasting and then press down the lowering lever. After the toaster
has been switched off or if the desired level of browning has been reached on the bottom
of the bread rolls, turn over the bread rolls and repeat the toasting process.

Cleaning and Care

CAUTION!
❐ Never immerse the device, mains cable or plug in water or other liquids.
❐ Before cleaning the device, always remove the plug from the mains socket and allow the
device to cool down.
❐ Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents. They could damage the surface.
❐ Do not use any metal objects to remove burnt bread residues from the device.
❐ The crumb tray and the roll warming rack are not suitable for dishwasher use.
❐ Do not spray cleaning agents directly onto the toaster.
• Wipe the outside of the device with a clean and slightly damp cloth.
• Regularly empty the crumb tray:
1. Remove the crumb tray carefully.
2. Remove the crumbs. Wipe off the tray with a damp cloth or rinse it with a mild deter-
gent under running water.
3. Dry the tray thoroughly.
4. Reinsert the crumb tray.
