❐ Only use accessories which are recommended by the manufacturer.
❐ Do not leave the device switched on when it is unattended.
❐ Do not drop the device or allow it to be knocked violently.
❐ Food that is too large, metal foil packaging, utensils or other objects must not be inserted
in the toaster because they may cause fi re or an electric shock.
❐ Do not cover the toasting slots, either with bread rolls or bread slices, or with other ob-
jects such as cutlery. In order to crisp up rolls, it is essential to use the roll warming rack!
❐ Only use the device with the crumb tray inserted and empty the tray regularly.
❐ Make sure that the toaster can switch off after the toasting process. Problems may oc-
cur by objects that block the lowering lever, or by baked items which are too large in the
toasting slots.
❐ Remove the mains plug from the socket and allow the device to cool down if problems oc-
cur during toasting. Remove anything that may be stuck in the toasting slot by moving the
lowering lever up and down a few times.
❐ Do not use any knives, forks or other metallic objects to handle the toasting slots.
❐ Do not remove any food from the toaster while it is still switched on.
❐ Be careful when taking out the bread after toasting in order to prevent burns. If necessary,
use kitchen tongs to remove the bread
❐ Never place the roll warming rack on the device while you are toasting bread in the slots.
You could burn yourself when removing the bread.

Warranty Terms

Excluded from the warranty are all defects resulting from improper handling, damage or at-
tempts to repair the device. This also applies to normal wear and tear.
