Application

Headzone ® Home is the ideal headphone system for the reproduction of surround sound (5.1)
home cinema systems. Using Headzone

This high-quality audio and music reproduction in surround (5.1) via virtual loudspeakers in a

The Headzone ® Home system is available in two versions:
1. Headzone Home HT with head tracker, which comprises the following components:

HBC 1 base station, DT 880 HT headphone, HR 1 head tracking receiver and HC 1 mounting
clip as well as connecting cables.
2. Headzone ® Home without head tracker, which comprises the following components:
HBC 1 base station and DT 880 headphone as well as connecting cables.
The Headzone ® Home system with head tracker transmits information about its position via
ultrasound to the head tracking receiver, which provides the data to the processing base station.
The head tracking function reacts to head movements of the user and adapts the room
impression automatically in real time.
Using a control on the base station you can adapt the appropriate settings of the parameters
"Room Size" and "Ambience" whether you would like to enjoy a film in the atmosphere of an
art house cinema or with the acoustics of a large cinema. Stereo hi-fi music also benefits from
the sophisticated Headzone

The headphone volume can optimally be set via a control of the base station and/or with the
volume control integrated in the 5 m long connecting cable.
