NOTE
Please read the instructions for use carefully before using
RC-Cornet
PLUS for the first time.
®
For patients with an open tracheostoma please use the
RC-Cornet
PLUS in combination with the RC-Tracheal mask.
®
For tracheotomy patients with a tracheostomy tube, please use
RC-Cornet
PLUS TRACHEO (see page 25).
®

RC-Cornet
PLUS is designed for patients age 2.5 and older.
®
The patient must be able to consciously coordinate inhalation
and exhalation by mouth. Children should only use the device
under supervision. Severely disabled or tracheotomized pati-
ents should only use the device with the aid of a respiratory
therapist or a cargiver. For neuromuscular or coma patients be
sure that after attaching the therapy device, a tone sounds im-

is made of silicone. Please replace the tube every six months.

PLUS in a dry, dust-free environment and

protect it from sunlight.

PLUS and its accessories can be dispo-

sed of as normal household waste provided a different form of
disposal is not mandated by national waste disposal regulations.

If the patient is allergic to medical talc, please boil all RC-Cor-
net
PLUS parts twice before using them for the first time. Ple-
