6. Tighten all nuts and bolts to the torque indicated in the dra-
wing.
7. The following applies for models with bumpers not prepared
for a towing bracket: Use the template to saw out the indica-
ted section from the bumper. (place the template on the outsi-
de of the bumper).
8. Place the two PE foam blocks as sealing in the chassis mem-
bers. Seal the portions indicated (see fig. 3).
9. Replace the items removed in step 1 and 2 excluding the steel
buffer beam.
10. Fit the Brink Connector E including the foldaway socket plate F
and strip G onto points H and I.
11. Tighten all nuts and bolts to the torque indicated in the dra-
wing.

See the assembly manual supplied for instructions on fitting the
removable ball system.
* The dealer should be consulted for possible necessary adjust-
ment(s) "of the vehicle".
* Remove the insulating material from the contact area of the fit-
ting points.
* Consult your dealer for the maximum tolerated pull weight and
ball hitch pressure of your vehicle.
* Remove (if present) the plastic caps from the spot welding nuts.
* This fitting instruction has to be enclosed in the vehicle docu-
ments after fitting the towbar.
* Brink is not liable for damage caused directly or indirectly by
incorrect assembly, including the use of unsuitable tools, the
use of other assembly methods and means than the ones outli-
ned, and the incorrect interpretation of these assembly instruc-
tions.
MONT GE NLEITUNG:
Vor Beginn des Einbaus ist anhand der Typplakette der nhänge -
kupplung festzustellen welches Bild in der Einbauanleitung
maßgebend ist.
1. Die Rücklichter abmontieren. Die Stoßstange einschließlich des
stählernen Stoßbalkens vom Fahrzeug abmontieren. Der
Stoßbalken wird nicht mehr benötigt.Schrauben wieder anbrin-
gen Siehe
bbildung 1/ 1a.
2. Den Fußboden im Kofferraum frei machen. Siehe
3. Gegebenenfalls die
ufkleber bei den Befestigungspunkten
entfernen. Siehe
bbildung 2.
4. Die Profile
im Fahrgestellträger anlegen und bei den Punkten
B halbfest befestigen.
5. Den Querbalken C zwischen den Profilen
den Punkten D halbfest befestigen.

lle Schrauben und Muttern gemäß den
bbildung festdrehen.
7. Für Modelle mit Stoßfängern, die nicht für eine
vorrichtung konzipiert sind, gilt: Den angegebenen Teil mit
Hilfe der Schablone aus der Stoßstange herausschneiden.
(Schablone außen auf der Stoßstange anlegen).
8. Die zwei PE-Schaumblöcke als Dichtung in den Fahrgestell -
träger einsetzen. Die angegebenen Teile kitten (siehe

bschnitt 1 und 2 Entfernte wieder anbringen ohne
stählernen Stoßbalkens.
