Attention: The power unit must be installed by an authorised electrician only, under observation of the
relevant guidelines.
All electrical connection cables installed inside the sauna cabin must be suitable for an ambient
temperature of at least 170 °C. Furthermore, the controls must be connected to a fixed mains outlet only.
Note: If a preselection function or remote start is used, a door contact switch or disconnecting rocker
(cover protection system) must be used according to the standards EN 60335-1 or EN 60335-2-53.
This door contact switch or disconnecting rocker is connected to the terminal "rocker/door" (if both are
used, they must be connected in series).
Opening the sauna door or pressing the disconnecting rocker during the enabled preselection function will
deactivate preselection (according to the standards EN 60335-1 and EN 60335-2-53).
In order to use the preselection function again after opening the door or pressing the disconnecting rocker,
it must be activated again.
4.6.
Appliance switch (Switch off):
There is an appliance switch on the back of the power unit. It is
provided to disconnect the electrical system from the mains supply
(Fig. 11).
The appliance switch can be disconnected if necessary and an
external ON/OFF switch can be connected instead (see Fig. 10).
4.7.
Assembly of the temperature sensor to an infrared
surface heating element:
Remove the rear panel of the surface heating element. Fix the
temperature sensor with the supplied adhesive tape between
the single carbon conductors in the lower zone of the surface
heater.
(Attention: in no case assemble the sensor directly onto a carbon
conductor!!)
4.8. Mounting the temperature sensor:
At a distance of 150 - 170 cm from the sauna heater (Fig. 13), drill a hole with a diameter of 7 mm into
the sauna ceiling (preferably in the middle of a profile board).
Pull the 5-pole silicone cable (5 x 0.5 mm) provided through the opening and connect it in separate 1 to 1
connections (i.e. 1 to 1, 2 to 2 etc.) with the sensor and the power unit.
Fix the sensor to the sauna ceiling with two screws (Fig. 15).

4.9. Connecting the light:
Drill a hole into the roof at the desired point for the light connecting cable.
The light can be positioned anywhere in the sauna, but not directly above the rising hot air stream from
the sauna heater.
