Slow Motion Effect
The DS-01 is mainly used to let fast rotating or vibrating objects appear in slow
motion or seemingly "freeze" them. This optical illusion lets you check these objects
safely and trouble-free.
In order to let the motions of an object appear in slow motion, it must be flashed with
the DS-01 slightly above or slightly below its actual rotation speed (or a harmonic
content of its rotation speed). Example: When a machine rotates with 2500 U/min
and you flash this with 2,510 RPM, the machine seems to rotate at 10 RPM.
